General

By booking with Comfort Tours & Transfers, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services including airport transfers, private hire, and tour bookings.

Bookings & Confirmations

All bookings must be made in advance via phone, email, or online platform. A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation message or email from Comfort Tours & Transfers. Please ensure all booking details (date, time, pickup location, passenger numbers) are accurate.

Pricing & Payments

All prices are quoted in NZD and include GST unless otherwise stated. Fares are based on distance, time, and type of service booked. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, extra stops, tolls, parking, or special requests. Payment can be made via cash, EFTPOS, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full booking amount. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Waiting Time

For standard pickups, a grace period of 10–15 minutes is allowed. For airport pickups, we allow reasonable waiting time based on flight arrival tracking. Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must behave respectfully towards drivers and vehicles at all times. Comfort Tours & Transfers reserves the right to refuse service if a passenger is:

  • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Acting in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner
  • Causing damage or unclean conditions

Safety & Compliance

All drivers are fully licensed and comply with New Zealand transport regulations. Vehicles are regularly maintained and insured for passenger transport. Seatbelts must be worn at all times as required by law.

Luggage

Passengers must inform us in advance of any excessive or oversized luggage. While reasonable care is taken, Comfort Tours & Transfers is not liable for loss or damage to luggage unless caused by negligence.

Delays & Liability

While we aim to be punctual, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Comfort Tours & Transfers is not liable for missed flights, appointments, or events due to such delays. Our liability is limited to the value of the booked service.

Damage & Cleaning Fees

Passengers may be charged for any damage caused to the vehicle. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is left in an excessively unclean condition.

Complaints & Feedback

We value your feedback and aim to resolve any concerns promptly. Complaints should be submitted within 48 hours of the trip with relevant details (date, time, driver, and issue).

Privacy

Customer information is collected only for booking and service purposes. We respect your privacy and do not share personal information with third parties without consent, unless required by law.

Changes to Terms

Comfort Tours & Transfers reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to new bookings.
